BARBECUED FRANKS

--SAUCE:--

1/3 c. bourbon
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. hot ketchup

(Use any amount as long as proportion is 1/3 - 1/3 - 1/3.) Cut franks into pieces and fry in a small amount of butter. Add above to franks and simmer until syrupy.

1 c. chili sauce
1 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. prepared mustard
Cocktail franks (this recipe makes
enough sauce for 3 to 4 lbs.

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Mix all ingredients, except franks. 3. Pour over franks in an ovenproof casserole. 4. Bake for 1/2 hour, covered, and 1/4 hour uncovered.
