DEVILED HAM AND CHEESE LOG

1 (4 1/2 oz.) can deviled ham
1/4 c. finely chopped pecans
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 drops Tabasco sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
Paprika

Blend cream cheese, deviled ham, pecans and seasonings. (Blending is easier if cream cheese is room temperature.) Shape into a roll 7 x 1 1/2 inch and chill. Before serving, roll in paprika. (Best when made the night before.)

CHEESE LOG

3 c. grated cheese (Jack and Colby)
4 oz. cream cheese
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
3/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp. pepper
Chili powder (or powdered taco mix)

In a medium size microwave safe bowl, soften all cheese together. Blend in Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt and pepper. Beat until soft and smooth. Roll into 2 logs about the size of a Ritz cracker. Take chili powder and sprinkle heavily on wax paper, roll each log until well coated. Chill for several days before serving. Slice thin and serve.
