CHILI CHEESE ROLL
1 pkg. (8 oz.) kraft deluxe American
cheese
1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. chopped pecans
2 tbsp. chili powder
Have cheese at room temperature; mix well. Stir in garlic and pecans; form into roll and roll in chili powder. Serve on crackers, preferably Sociables.
CHEESE ROLLS
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
2 c. self-rising flour
6-8 tbsp. butter flavored Crisco
1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. melted butter (approx.)
1/8 tsp. garlic salt
Mix dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Fold in cheese. Gradually add milk to make a stiff dough that can be dropped by tablespoon onto a greased cookie sheet. Brush tops with melted butter. Sprinkle with garlic salt. Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
