CHIPPED BEEF DIP

1 (5 oz.) jar chipped beef
1 (16 oz.) sour cream
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
2 tbsp. dried onion
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. milk

Mix all ingredients. Serve hot or cold. 24 servings. 1 serving = calories 90, fat 8.2 gm, calories from fat 81%, sodium 98 mg. Accounting

CHIPPED BEEF DIP

2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/4 c. milk
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
1/4 c. dried minced onion
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. chopped green pepper (optional)
1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar sliced dried beef,
chopped
1 tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Place cream cheese in 1 quart casserole; microwave on high 1 minute, stirring after 30 seconds. Stir until cream cheese is smooth and creamy. Stir in milk and next 6 ingredients. Mix well. Spread mixture evenly into 9 inch pie plate, set aside. Place butter in 1 cup glass measuring cup; microwave on high 30 seconds or until melted. Toss pecans with butter, sprinkle evenly over cream cheese mixture. Microwave on medium (50% power) 7 to 8 minutes, giving dish a quarter turn after 4 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Serve with unsalted crackers.
