CHEESE CRISPIES

1 c. grated cheese (sharp)
1/4 c. margarine, softened
1/2 c. all purpose flour
Dash of salt

Mix together all ingredients in mixing bowl. Pull off small pieces of dough mixture and form into a small ball. Makes about two or three dozen small balls. Place 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet. Flatten each ball slightly with a fork. (Makes a nice design on cookie). Bake at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Store in an airtight container.

CHEESE CRISPIES

1/2 lb. sharp cheddar cheese
2 sticks butter, softened
2 c. self rising flour
1/2 - 1 tsp. red pepper
Dash salt
2 c. Rice Krispies

Grate cheese; soften butter and blend. Sift flour, red pepper and salt together and blend with cheese. Stir in Rice Krispies. Form into small balls, place on cookie sheet and press with fork. Bake at 350 degrees about 20 minutes. Approximate yield: 175 to 200.
