DRIED BEEF BALL
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
6-8 green onions (ends only)
1 sm. jar of Armor dried beef
1 6 in. sq. of Saran Wrap
1. Soften cream cheese 15-20 minutes at room temperature only. 2. In a medium metal mixing bowl, place cream cheese. 3. Using scissors, cut the green onion ends into small bits over the cream cheese. 4. Using scissors, cut dried beef into small bits over cream cheese and cut onion bits. 5. Using hands or fork (I use my hands), knead cheese, onions, and dried beef to mix them thoroughly, always using a rolling action of hand so the onion and beef are being spread through cheese. 6. Place on Saran Wrap and wrap up in shape of ball. Refrigerate 15-20 minutes for best results. 7. Serve with the following. Serving suggestions: Peel and slice cucumber thinly. Surround cheese ball with cucumber slices. Offer crackers for cheese spread. Place cucumber slice on top on spread. This cuts some of the salty taste in cheese. Favorite of my friends is to offer pineapple chunks and grapes along with cheese ball.
