FREEZE-AHEAD CRAB APPETIZERS
1 stick (1/2 c.) butter (or margarine)
1 jar Old English cheese spread
1 1/2 tsp. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 (7 oz.) can crabmeat
6 English muffins, halved
Blend first 5 ingredients. Spread on muffin halves. Freeze until ready to use. (Freeze on cookie sheet until hard, then store in a plastic bag.) To serve: Take out as many as you want. Cut into 6 or 8 wedges while frozen. Broil for a short time and serve hot.
