CHOCOLATE CHIP ROCKY ROAD PIZZA
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened
2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, soda, and salt in bowl. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla, mix in dry ingredients, along with chocolate chips and nuts. Pat into 14 inch round pizza pan sprayed with Pam. Bake 25 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle topping over cookie crust. Let stand 5 minutes, then swirl with spatula. Cool completely, cut into wedges.TOPPING FOR PIZZA:
6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1 c. pecan pieces
Combine all ingredients and sprinkle over crust.
ROCKY ROAD PIZZA
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. peanuts
1 egg
1 c. miniature marshmallows
In a large mixing bowl beat butter with electric mixer on medium speed until softened (about 30 seconds). Add sugar and brown sugar and beat until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well with mixer on low speed. Gradually beat in flour. Spread dough evenly on an ungreased pizza pan. Bake in a 375 degree oven about 12 minutes or until golden. Sprinkle peanuts, marshmallows and chocolate chips atop hot crust. Return pizza to the oven and bake 6-10 minutes or until marshmallows are golden. Cool in pan on cooling rack. If you like, make each section of the pizza different by sprinkling different combinations on each section.
