SHRIMP AND CHEESE SPREAD

1 (6 oz.) can tiny shrimp
Cocktail sauce
1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
2 (8 oz.) soft cream cheese
1/4 tsp. onion and garlic powder
Crackers

Drain can of shrimp. Mix 3/4 can of shrimp with cream cheese, onion, garlic and parsley. Shape spread into loaf to match serving dish. (round dish - round loaf, oblong dish = oblong loaf) Leave about a 2 inch border. Make a crater on top of loaf. Fill with cocktail sauce. Sprinkle remaining shrimp on top and garnish with parsley. Surround loaf with crackers.

LILA'S SHRIMP AND CHEESE SPREAD

4 or 5 green onions, chopped fine
3/4 lb. cheddar cheese, grated
1 or 2 can baby shrimp (broken pieces
are okay)
Mayonnaise

Add mayonnaise to mixed ingredients until they stick together. Put in mold and refrigerate to chill. Take out of mold after mixture is set. San Jose, California
